Is Aurafy really free?

Yes, free is the trial that never expires. The Free plan lets you log every trade, see core stats (win rate, P&L, R-multiple), keep a daily journal, and use 1 trading account and 3 playbook setups. Free shows your last 30 days of trade history; every trade still saves. Pro is $49/mo (or $490/yr, save 2 months) and replaces the ~$103/mo stack of journal + recording + backtest tools. The first 50 customers lock in founding pricing, $19/mo or $149/yr, for the life of their subscription.

When is the bar-replay backtester coming, and will the chart be free?

The bar-replay backtester is in active development, coming soon. When it ships, the TradingView-powered chart will be free for every user, no card, no Pro required: open any symbol, scrub any historical period. Pro will add unlimited simulated trades, unlimited history jumps, full analytics, and exports. We will not charge for the chart itself.

Do I own my data and can I export it?

Yes. Aurafy stores your trades in encrypted Cloudflare storage, and you can export everything to CSV any time. We never sell or share your data, and there is no lock-in.

How does screen recording work?

Screen recording runs through the free standalone Aurafy Recorder app (Mac, Windows, Linux). The camera bubble and recording controls float over any app, Loom-style, so it keeps recording while you work in your broker, charts, and notes, and a global hotkey (⌘⇧A, or Ctrl+Shift+A) starts or stops from anywhere. Recordings auto-link to the trades you logged during the session. Screen recording is a Pro feature.

How does Aurafy compare to TradeZella?

TradeZella Pro is $49/month for journaling. Aurafy Pro is also $49/month, but includes screen recording (separately, that's Loom at $15/mo) and a bar-replay backtester (separately, FX Replay at $39/mo) whose chart is free for everyone. Aurafy is also futures-first, with R-multiples, tick-level P&L, and per-contract fees built in. Free is the trial, no card, no expiry.

What if I am past the founding 50?

The first 50 paying customers (across monthly and yearly combined) lock in founding pricing, $19/mo or $149/yr, for the life of their subscription. Once those 50 spots are claimed, Pro is the standard $49/mo or $490/yr. Free stays free either way.

Is there a mobile app?

Not yet. A mobile app is on the roadmap, but we want to be honest, today Aurafy is a web app at app.aurafy.dev. It does work in a mobile browser, but it is built desktop-first.

What brokers can I import?

Drop a Tradovate, NinjaTrader, Sierra Chart, or Rithmic CSV into Aurafy and trades are auto-detected, with entry/exit prices, stops, fees, and R-multiples computed automatically. More broker formats are added regularly.

Does Aurafy work for prop firm traders?

Yes. Aurafy supports FTMO, Topstep, Apex, TradeDay, and other prop firms. You can separate evaluation accounts, funded accounts, and personal accounts, track drawdown against firm-specific rules, and compare your expectancy across phases.
