Terms of Service

Last updated: May 12, 2026 · Effective immediately

By using Aurafy, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain English. If something is unclear, email our contact form and we'll explain.

1. What Aurafy is (and what it isn't)

Aurafy is a trading journal. It helps you record what you did and review it. It is not a broker, not a signal service, not a trading bot, and not a financial advisor.

Important: Nothing in Aurafy — features, content, statistics, or interpretations — is financial advice. Trading futures involves substantial risk of loss. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Make your own decisions.

2. Your account

You can use the desktop app without an account. The web app requires one. You agree to:

One person = one account. If we detect duplicate / coordinated accounts working around limits, we may suspend any or all of them.

3. Your data, your responsibility

Aurafy stores the trade data you enter. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you put in. We make reasonable efforts to keep your data safe (see the Privacy Policy), but:

4. Free and paid plans

The desktop app is free forever. The web app has a free tier (basic journal + stats) and a Pro tier ($9.99/month or $79/year) which unlocks advanced stats, prop firm tracking, screen recording integrations, and other features.

Pro is billed through Stripe. You can cancel anytime via Settings → Manage subscription. After cancellation, you keep Pro until the end of your billing period.

See the Refund Policy for details on when you can get your money back.

5. Acceptable use

Don't:

If you do any of these, we may suspend or terminate your account without refund.

6. Intellectual property

Aurafy's code, brand, and design are owned by the Aurafy team. You get a personal, non-transferable license to use the app — you don't own the software itself. Your data (your trades, your journal, your screenshots) is yours; we don't claim any rights over it beyond what's needed to operate the service.

7. Service availability + changes

The web app runs on Cloudflare and aims for high uptime, but we don't promise 100%. We may have brief outages for maintenance or due to upstream provider issues. We don't offer SLAs at this price point.

We may add features, change pricing, or remove features at any time. For paid plans, material changes (e.g. removing a feature you paid for) trigger a pro-rated refund option. We'll email you about any such change at least 14 days in advance.

8. No warranty

Aurafy is provided "as is." We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties — express and implied.

9. Limit of liability

Our total liability to you, for any cause whatsoever, is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. If you've never paid us anything, our liability is zero. We are never liable for indirect, consequential, lost-profits, or trading-loss damages.

This is industry-standard. We're not a tool to win or lose trades — we're a tool to help you record them. We can't be held responsible for your trading decisions.

10. Termination

You can stop using Aurafy and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). We may terminate your account if you violate these terms (with notice unless the violation is egregious). On termination, your data is deleted per the Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

Aurafy is available worldwide and we serve users in many countries. We try to resolve any dispute by email first — usually a 1-day reply gets it sorted. If a dispute can't be resolved that way:

Either way: email our contact form first. We're a small operation and would much rather fix something than fight about it.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially, we'll email registered users 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after the change counts as acceptance.

13. Contact
