Free Trading Journal for Mac

Aurafy runs in any Mac browser, there is nothing to install. Open app.aurafy.dev on your Mac, sign up, and start journaling. The free plan is a real, usable journal; Pro adds full history, advanced analytics, and recording review.

Why traders can try Aurafy safely

Aurafy is a young, independent trading journal. It earns trust by keeping the local app usable without an account, making desktop data exportable, and being clear about which features are free and which require Pro.

Local-first desktop
Your desktop journal works locally; cloud sync is optional.
No lock-in posture
Desktop data lives in SQLite and can be exported/backed up.
~50% off the stack
Aurafy Pro is $49/mo, replaces the ~$103/mo stack of journal + screen recording + bar-replay backtester. The backtester chart is free for everyone; Pro unlocks unlimited simulated trades, history jumps, analytics and exports.

Getting started on Mac

Go to app.aurafy.dev in Safari, Chrome, or any modern browser, create an account, and you are journaling, no DMG, no Gatekeeper warning, no install. Because it runs in the browser, it works the same on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.

Works on any Mac

There is no native build to match to your chip, the web app runs identically on Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) and Intel Macs, and on whatever macOS version your browser supports. Sign in from your trading Mac, a laptop, or any other machine and the same journal is there.

Screen recording on Mac

For recording your sessions, the free standalone Aurafy Recorder app has a native Mac build. It records any app with an optional camera bubble and a ⌘⇧A hotkey, writes the video files to your own machine, and auto-links each recording to the matching trades in your journal. Recording review is a Pro feature.

Your data, your control

Your trades are stored in your Aurafy account in encrypted Cloudflare storage, and you can export everything to CSV anytime, back it up to iCloud, a USB drive, or anywhere you like. We never sell your data, and the export means no lock-in.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to install anything on my Mac?
No. Aurafy is a web app, just open app.aurafy.dev in your browser. The only optional download is the free Aurafy Recorder app if you want screen recording.
Does it work on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs?
Yes, both. The web app runs in the browser, so it works identically regardless of your chip.
Will I see an unverified-developer warning?
Not for the journal, it runs in the browser, so there is no Gatekeeper prompt. The optional Aurafy Recorder app is a separate download.
Can I record my screen on Mac?
Yes, via the free standalone Aurafy Recorder app, which has a native Mac build and auto-links recordings to your trades. Reviewing recordings is a Pro feature.
