EXPORT GUIDE

How to Export Rithmic Fill History (R | Trader Pro and Prop Accounts)

Rithmic is the routing backbone behind R | Trader Pro and most Topstep / Apex setups, and it keeps a complete fill history you can export to CSV. This guide covers getting that file out, then you can drop it in the box below and see your real win rate, P&L, and equity curve instantly — free, no account needed.

Why traders can try Aurafy safely

Aurafy is a young, independent trading journal. It earns trust by keeping the local app usable without an account, making desktop data exportable, and being clear about which features are free and which require Pro.

Local-first desktop
Your desktop journal works locally; cloud sync is optional.
No lock-in posture
Desktop data lives in SQLite and can be exported/backed up.
~50% off the stack
Aurafy Pro is $48.88/mo, replaces the ~$103/mo stack of journal + screen recording + bar-replay backtester. The backtester chart is free for everyone; Pro unlocks unlimited simulated trades, history jumps, analytics and exports.

The result is the number your platform showed you, after commission. That is the whole entry: no fill prices, no CSV, no import.

Step-by-step: exporting from R | Trader Pro

In R | Trader Pro: (1) open the Fill History (order/fill history) report from the reports menu. (2) Select the account and your date range. (3) Export the report to CSV. Because the fills come from Rithmic's backend rather than the front-end, the export layout is consistent whether you trade through R | Trader Pro, a prop-firm dashboard, or another Rithmic-routed platform — the same import path covers all of them.

Why Fill History pairs so well

The export is one row per fill with full timestamps, so the importer can pair entries and exits chronologically into closed trades — scale-ins and scale-outs produce clean positions with weighted-average entries. Aurafy also normalizes Rithmic's single-digit-hour timestamps (like 9:35, which naively parses as an invalid date) before sorting, so longs and shorts never get mis-paired by a broken chronological sort.

Prop-firm accounts: the main use case

Most funded futures accounts are Rithmic-routed, which makes this export the standard way to journal an eval. Import each account separately (the export carries an account identifier), keep eval and funded expectancy apart, and watch the equity curve per phase. The free trailing drawdown calculator pairs well with this — see how your curve interacts with a trailing drawdown before the firm shows you the hard way.

Routing Rithmic through Sierra Chart or NinjaTrader?

Either export works. If your front-end is Sierra Chart, the Trade Activity Log export may be more convenient; on NinjaTrader, the executions grid export is four clicks. All three formats auto-detect on drop — use whichever report is closest to hand. The numbers come out the same because they're the same fills.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I see my stats before creating an account?
Yes. The drop-zone on this page (and on the aurafy.dev homepage) parses your CSV and shows your win rate, total P&L, average R, and equity curve with no account at all. Nothing is saved unless you decide to keep it.
Does this work for Topstep and Apex accounts?
Yes — most funded futures accounts route through Rithmic, so their Fill History exports use the format this page describes and the importer auto-detects.
Does Aurafy connect to the Rithmic API?
No. Aurafy reads the CSV you export — no credentials, no live connection. CSV import is the supported path.
My timestamps look weird after opening the file in Excel.
Expected — Excel rewrites timestamps to single-digit-hour forms. The importer zero-pads and normalizes them so pairing and dates stay correct.
What if my front-end emits a non-standard variant?
Use the generic CSV mapper in the free journal: map the columns once (time, symbol, side, price, quantity), save the preset, and future imports are one click.
