Yes. Every new account also gets 14 days of full Pro first, no card needed, so you can try everything before deciding. After that, Free keeps working as a complete journal: log every trade in one field with no cap, read the full trade log, see core stats (win rate, P&L, expectancy, profit factor), keep a daily journal with notes and tags, use 1 trading account, and open the backtester chart on any symbol. Free shows your last 12 months of trade history; every trade still saves, nothing is ever deleted. Pro is $48.88/mo, monthly only, and it replaces the ~$103/mo stack of journal + recording + backtest tools.

Is the bar-replay backtester live, and is the chart free?

Yes. The bar-replay backtester is live for every account. The TradingView-powered chart is free for every user, no card, no Pro: any symbol, any timeframe, all the history, scrubbing, drawing tools and indicators. Free also includes one simulated trade per session. Pro adds unlimited simulated trades, saved session analytics, exports and the prop firm simulator. We do not charge for the chart itself.

Do I own my data and can I export it?

Yes. Aurafy stores your trades in encrypted Cloudflare storage, and you can export everything to CSV any time. We never sell or share your data, and there is no lock-in.

How does screen recording work?

Screen recording runs through the standalone Aurafy Recorder app (Mac, Windows, Linux), which is a free download. The camera bubble and recording controls float over any app, Loom-style, so it keeps recording while you work in your broker, charts, and notes, and a global hotkey (⌘⇧A, or Ctrl+Shift+A) starts or stops from anywhere. Recordings auto-link to the trades you logged during the session. The same app also syncs your closed trades into your journal, read straight from NinjaTrader. Screen recording and trade auto-sync are both Pro features, and every new account gets 14 days of Pro to try them.

How does Aurafy compare to TradeZella?

TradeZella's public plans run $26 to $99 a month depending on tier and billing, with no free plan and no free trial (as of July 2026). Aurafy starts free, forever, and every new account also gets 14 days of full Pro to try everything first, no card needed. Is there a mobile app?

Not yet. A mobile app is on the roadmap, but we want to be honest, today Aurafy is a web app at app.aurafy.dev. It does work in a mobile browser, but it is built desktop-first.

Which platforms does Aurafy work with?

All of them. A trade is logged as the result your platform showed you, in one field, so nothing depends on your broker offering a particular export. If you trade NinjaTrader, the Aurafy Recorder app can also log your closed trades for you automatically.

Does Aurafy work for prop firm traders?

Yes. Aurafy supports FTMO, Topstep, Apex, TradeDay, and other prop firms. You can separate evaluation accounts, funded accounts, and personal accounts, track drawdown against firm-specific rules, and compare your expectancy across phases.

Where is my trading data stored?

Aurafy stores your trades in encrypted Cloudflare storage. We never sell or share your data.

Will existing users lose access?

No. Traders who signed up before the Free tier limits launched are grandfathered and keep full all-time history at no charge.

Is Aurafy trading education?

Charts by TradingView, coming to Aurafy

Aurafy has partnered with TradingView to bring Advanced Charts into the app. The same charting surface that powers Binance, Bybit, and Interactive Brokers is being wired into Aurafy's backtest module and into the in-trade chart on every trade detail page. It is scheduled to ship in the next few weeks.

This is the single biggest gap I have heard from Aurafy users since day one, and it is the last missing piece of the post-session loop.

Why this matters

Aurafy exists to put the whole post-session loop into one app. Log the trade, see the chart, replay the tape, write the journal, review the numbers. Until now there was no chart inside Aurafy itself. Traders had to flip between Aurafy and a separate charting tab to confirm what they were even looking at, then flip back to write the note. Every flip is a tax on review.

Pulling in TradingView closes that loop. The chart you already trust, sitting next to the trade row you already logged, with the journal field already open. No tab switching, no copy-pasting symbols, no "wait, which session was this again."

What is coming

Two surfaces light up at launch:

Bar-replay backtest module. Walk forward bar by bar through the exact tape that happened. Set up a fresh session, hide the future, and trade it like it is live. This is the FX Replay equivalent built directly into Aurafy. No second subscription.
In-trade chart on every trade detail page. Open any trade, see the chart at the moment of entry and exit. Any symbol, any timeframe, any history, the full TradingView drawing tools and indicator library. Save your study right next to your note.

Both surfaces use the real TradingView Advanced Charts widget. Same hotkeys, same drawing tools, same indicators. Nothing reskinned, nothing stripped.

Free vs Pro

The Advanced Charts surface itself - any symbol, any timeframe, any history, all the drawing tools and indicators - is free for every Aurafy user. The chart does not move behind a paywall.

Pro unlocks the surrounding analytics: unlimited simulated trades per session, multi-session R-distribution stats, win-rate broken out by time-of-day and setup, and exports. The chart is the surface; Pro is the review layer that sits on top of it. Pricing details are on the pricing page.
